Hey there! I’m Mia.

I’m a mom of two, a former Infant/Toddler Montessori teacher, a dreamer, and a minister’s wife who loves nothing more than helping others. My passion has always been little people and now as a parent, my passion has grown to other parents as well.

No doubt, my Montessori education has changed the way my husband, Ryan, and I parent. I now understand first hand just how stinkin’ hard parenting is and hope to help other parents thrive and not just survive the early years of parenthood.

My dream through this blog is to educate and empower parents to create an environment in their own home in which their littles can succeed — this will in turn build a foundation of confidence in the child and offer sanity to the parent as a result of their child’s independence.

When I’m not looking at the world through my littles’ lens, I love to sit with friends over a good cup of coffee (& a cinnamon roll!), laugh, spend time outdoors, and peruse the latest online deals…confession: I’m a bargain shopper!
